Vickie and Kim - I'm so sorry to hear about you mom. I remember her from the YMCA and 4-H - she was very fit and active and inspired me to get in shape when I was a kid. You're in my thoughts.

I so much enjoyed working with Judy at the Special Olympic swim meet in Ames for the past 18 years. She was always there to make the meet special to all of the athletes. I was always so impressed how she could remember all the kids names year after year. She will be dearly missed in many ways.
God Bless to Judy and her family you will be in my Prayers!

Judy was one of the best. She was always there to help and she always did more then her share. She was great for the Y's Men and Women's Club, the Y and the community. I think the pool in heaven has a new life guard. She will be missed by many for a long time to come.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. Judy was a great person. I attended some of her water classes at the Y and went on at least one mission trip with her. She was a dedicated mother, hard worker, humble servant to all. She will be missed both at the Y and in our congregation. Since I just had knee replacement on the 4th I was unable to attend either visitation or the funeral service. I think alot about Judy as I recover knowing she underwent double knee replacement. What a brave person. She is an inspiration to me,

Kim and Vicki--My deepest sympathy for you all. I have great memories of your family and fun. Your mom was always there to support us in all our adventures. She taught me many things in life and will be greatly missed.
I know that her suffering is over and she is ready to bless each of your lives from Heaven.
I will be thinking of you all.

I saw Judy wear many "hats" over the years. I remember when she worked at Gibson Shoe Store while my parents had their shoe repair shop in the back on the store. I also knew her from the Y, and I went to school with her daughter Vicki.
I know that Judy enjoyed many different kinds of activities throughout her life, but I think athletics brought her the most joy. She touched many lives simply because she had the privilege

Our thoughts & prayers are with you all. Although I didn't see Judy very often, I never saw her without a smile on her face, and something nice to say. She truly was a joy to be around, and will be missed by many.
